No improvement. I can't do the only strength exercise I can do because it's inconvenient for my other half to take a minute to lift the bar for me then a short time later spend a minute lifting it so I can "unhook" my feet from under the roller. It'll never improve unless he allows me to have the surgeries I need. That's life I suppose. I've become invisible.

Hi Smo!
Since my doctor said he wasn't going to do more joint replacements because I'm too young, I gave up. I don't do leg extensions because I can't lift the bar anymore to slide my feet under the roller. My other half hasn't offered to lift the bar up and lift it when I'm done. Oh well. I'm not trying to gain weight, but I am slowly gaining. I'm not a doctor, but I think my right rotator cuff is eaten up from the RA. I can't raise my right hand higher than my shoulder, and sometimes if I reach up and toward say, my chin area, my arm drops as if suddenly there's no muscle. After a few seconds it okay. All the joints are getting worse. Again, oh well.

Woo-hoo!
I'm finally back to the gym! It feels great to be back there working out, though I'm getting pretty sore already. My strength has decreased significantly (along with my body weight) since my last workout in October so I am trying to ease into it. The class I'm teaching is currently on Spring Break so I'm able to be sore without hobbling around the room on stiff legs. I need to commit to this morning gym time even once class resumes so I can try to get back in decent shape.
