New Year's Resolution
Here I am, ready to get back in shape and nutritionally sound for the new year! I'm excited about the on-line video trainers and the prospect of getting rid of these "wobbly parts," as Bridget Jones calls them. Wish me luck!

Victory!
Just got back from Valentine's Day lunch. Didn't really want to go because it's the first day I'm trying to get back on track with portion control and healthy choices. But I did it! I made a great choice. I ate a chicken burger off the children's menu with a kid side salad. Biggest encouragement is not even that I ate low calories but the willpower I used to pass up the tempting calorie-packed menu choices. I'm on my way again! Can't wait to see the last 5 pounds drop off. I LOVE Daily Burn!

This is where the rubber meets the road...
Believe it or not, losing the weight was easy. I was motivated and focused. Once I got three pounds from my goal, and I bought new clothes and looked good in my skin, I stopped pushing. It's okay that I was content with myself at that weight. But the hard part is now maintaining. Of course I've gone up 2.5 pounds, so I'm going to have to lose that first, plus the 3 that will bring me to my original goal weight, and then learn how to maintain. I've always spoken to myself so negatively about my ability to stay thin. My goal is twofold: speak positive things to myself; and embrace the self-discipline and boundaries that make me truly happy. Here we go! What a wonderful adventure life is!

Yikes!
I'm going up! Okay. Starting today I am going to be strict about logging all my food on the nutrition log, no matter what. I am going to stick to my minimum eating goals. I will also increase my walking/biking in order to burn more calories. Most of all, I need to change my frame of mind to one of determination in the fight. I took a break, but now I'm off break, ready to finish up. Countdown to Cabo. Every day counts!

Awesome!!
Tammi! you are doing so good!! You are my motivator for my wedding dress!! I am sitting at work trying to figure it out! lol I tried to input my workout from last night and I think I did it wrong because it said that I burned 5,300 calories hahaha and I know that was NOT possible in my hour workout! I accidently put 10hrs of stair climber instead of 10mins... Oh well, see you at bible study on thursday!
