I graduated
I'm sorry I've been neglecting my GymBuddies, I've been putting all my effort into physical therapy. Today was my last day (they told me I "graduated") so now I can get back to regular exercises and slowly build back up.

Thanksgiving vacation
Well, that's over. Good news: got lots of exercise, and ate healthy food. Bad news: also drank plenty of alcohol. The hotel gym was poorly equipped, so after lifting once and used the treadmill twice, I decided to bag it. We were walking for transportation (not timed or measured), and playing golf with a caddy on a long, hilly course, and that seemed like enough. As to the golf, the heavy lifting and wrist curls seemed to be paying off, I'm getting about an extra 5 yd. or so with all my clubs. Now if I could just putt. Did my first post-vacation weigh-in today, weight stayed pretty steady and my fat % is down, so it certainly wasn't a disaster. Now I need to get back to the gym.

Re: I had a similar problem...
I had a similar problem with biking. I have a recumbent bike. All bike challenges only pick up on "Road Bike", so I had to log it in as Road Bike. I didn't realize there was the same problem with treadmills. When I was using my treadmill I wasn't with a distance challenge, so didn't notice the problem. I'm sure I won't make 100 miles by New Years, but maybe it'll motivate me to walk. I'll answer the last half of your post on my journal, it may bore your GymBuddies to read it here. :-)
