Cardio
Although HIIT training isn't really cardio, I agree that I would never give it up. It is essential to losing fat and weight. You just have to find some form that you can either enjoy or at least stomach. I love boxing and DDR and they offer great forms of HIIT style training. I do not prefer running, but I will do it if need be. The biggest factor to building muscle is to push you body to a point that it responds. Your body has to feel like if it doesn't become stronger and doesn't work harder, then its going to collapse. That requires change from time to time as well as giving it your all in all that you do. That is why HIIT training is so effective. Good luck in your progress.
