    clean eating

Hello, I just bought and read the book on clean eating and I am going to work at gradually turing my diet into a clean eating one, one meal at a time. I sam starting first with breakfast trying to eat steal cut oatmeal every day for the next 2 weeks. I figure that I will try to add a new clean eating meal to my diet atleast every 2 weeks or mabey a new one each week depending how my body is adapting and by June I am hoping to be eating clean. How is the clean eating going for you? Any suggestions?

Re: "i feel like a failure"

Hey, So I can't be there/near you to feel the same stuff you are....but I can do it over the internet.... I too was fit, thin and happy about...1.5 years ago. Size 5ish. Now...I'm doubling that at a size 10..well I've crept back down a bit, but I was up there. Either way, I've basically struggled the last year with binge eating. Alot. I'd diet really well for a few days, exercise well, all like I used to, but then I'd binge an unbelieveable amount in one evening and gain literally 2-4lbs overnight. It's terrible and I completely understand how hard it is to deal with. You think it should be so easy to stop...but you just cant control it once it starts...it goes beyond willpower what you and I deal with because its rooted in deeper issues (i think). Anyway , hit me up any time you need to talk, I'm here for ya. Maybe I should try getting on the scale less too, since I know that often seeing that the scale hasnt moved or has went up a bit causes me to binge out of frustration...

    RE: weight loss

Hey girl, I don't think is bad that you haven't step on the scale. I only weight myself every couple of weeks; I can't weight-in everyday, it drives me crazy, I feel too much pressure. Some people let the scale rule their life, that's not good. So, if you feel good, full of energy, & having fun with your workouts then stick to it. I think the increase in cardio is going to help you a lot. I personally think cardio is the key to weight loss, of course along with good nutrition. have fun at the gym this week! Jocie D
