Fresyes's Journal
back to tracking
Gone to the gym 95 times since January 12th and seen little weight loss. I believe I have been eating under 1800 calories but I suppose if that was the case I'd lost more /shrug. That said my strength and endurance have skyrocketed. For 3 weeks now I have got to spin classes (8 or 9 total) and when not doing that I'm on the treadmill and pumping iron. I went and saw my Dr to get some lab work done.. maybe he will find something, either way I'm going to keep it up and also start tracking food and my exercise again. Perhaps I'm missing something

digging in
Didn't fall off the wagon but let the frustration of little results and some scheduling problems keep me from recording. I'm back on it today and will be more detailed with everything including food records. I'm going to try two 45 min cardio workouts as many days a week as I can handle. My goal is to really shock myself with crazy results by 4/15/10

frustrated but sticking with it
I let the frustration get the better of me and stopped recording my foods (although I have eaten healthy). Today I will get back on recording every bite. I am also going to step up the intensity of my workouts and begin taking some nutrition supplements (more on this later)

Keep up the good work Jay, don't get discouraged. What worked for me was no booze, flour, corn, rice, cereal, potatoes and fruit. Also I work out for 60 mins then do 45 to 60 mins of cardio at 65%. Your body burns sugar (glucose) in your blood first then glycogen (sugar) stored in your muscles next. After it depletes those your body releases hormones and that breaks down your stored fat and you burn that for energy.

frustrated
I had lost about 4 pounds BUT back to where I started again. Eat right and exercise six days a week and no loss :-/
