I am much more active on Fitocracy, which has a better commenting system. If you have questions, I would be happy to answer, but I would rather do it there than here: http://www.fitocracy.com/profile/cabichandani/

Ugh...
I was sick as a dog last week and didn't do anything I was supposed to. Back on track today.

Friday the 13th
Today, I will not be worrying about my goals. I am having a terrible day. That's no excuse, but I'm just not dealing with any of it today. Judge me if you'd like. Relationships are hard. Work is hard. Being a grown-up is hard. *sigh*

Starting point
I'm completely embarrassed.... I attempted to do some push-ups today. I couldn't finish ONE. Long road ahead. I'm going to look at it positively, rather than how I could: this gives me an excellent starting off point, and another clear goal. :) Let the good times roll!

Today is the day!
So, technically I started a better diet and water regimen last week, but today is the day I'm officially setting a goal and getting started on the right track. I want to establish a better diet, drink more water, and lose some weight. After I get down to my target weight, I'm going to join a gym and start pumping iron, to build muscle and bulk up. In my mind, this is the best way to go about this as I'll see weight-loss results and it will encourage me to keep going, as well as not trying to jump into changing all the aspects of my lifestyle at once and risk faster frustration. My long-term goals are: ~to have a six-pack and bigger biceps ~to be able to walk up stairs or distances without being winded ~to build strength and endurance ~to promote a healthier lifestyle, diet, and MINDSET!
