TOTALLY WITH YA
It's amazing to me to see someone with the same issue! I also have PCOS and have worked out like a crazy person possessed and survived on less than 1000 cals a day for years! I was even a fitness professional for a while. I was an aerobic instructor and trainer at LInda Evans Fitness (all women center... the only place that allowed an over weight instructor). It was not until I got pregnant at 35 years old that I LOST weight! While I was preggo I felt fantastic! It's funny, you dont realize you feel bad until for the first time you actually feel good. By the end of my pregnancy I was 3 pounds lighter than when I started. IT doesnt sound like much until the 8 and a half pound baby came out! It turns out I was actually 40 pounds lighter! While I was breast feeding I looked fanstastic and would have felt great too if I werent going through a devestating divorce. Sadness made it impossible for me to keep breastfeeding (too much quiet reflection). So... my hormones returned to normal (PCOS normal that is) and my weight came back. I honestly think if I had been in a better place in my life, I could have kept it off. The stress of a new baby, loss of a husband and no family within 2000 miles to help was just too much for me. Well, my little love bug is 2 now, and I'm over the exhusband and am ready to reclaim my life. sooooo.. anyway, I just got the HCG diet. When I heard that it used pregnancy hormones I was really excited because with this horrible metabolic disorder pregnancy was the only thing that worked for me! I just started, I'm on day 4... the first day of the 500 calories and I'm not really hungry. (and the day is over) I feel fine, I had a head ache the first couple days. The headache feels like the ones I had during the beginning of my pregnancy so I'm guessing it was from the hormone. I really wish you would email me or come by my facebook or myspace. my email is nancimila@msn.com or you can find my myspace link on my website www.cottagemagic.com I would love to have someone in my situation to talk to while we are on the same journey. After reading the posts here I will NOT post here . I'm sick of seeing people preach low calories and exercise... it doesnt work for everyone! My name is Nancy btw. I really would love to talk to you and see what you have tried.

I have done the hCG diet and just finished the end
I won't post on the public part of this forum any more and you won't get any support from these people but lots of daggers!!! But, I did this diet and it worked for me to lose 25 pounds in the 42 days. So if you want to contact me and can figure out how to do this without bringing the forum maniacs down on us, I would be happy to give you support and my advise. You are correct that their ways don't work for everyone, but they can't see it. They thought I was making outrageous claims. I was only telling what happened to me in the 42 day period. I lost 25 lbs and now have changed my eating habits for future eating. Good luck. PS...I made a logo of hCG Diet and was so proud of it but that caused the forum people to think I was trying to sell something. I am a 58 year old graphic designer from Boulder, CO and not the least bit interested in selling anything.
