    Slacked off : (

    So i completely slacked off for a while. But now I'm even more motivated than ever! I joined LA Fitness today- I have two close to me so I can go to either. One really close to home and one really close to home. It came with a free 1 hour session with a trainer, I would usually have turned this down because of nervousness and shyness, but i have it set for noon on Wednesday! I bought new sneakers and some cute work out clothes, cause ill be in public now, not at home in my basement or garage. I'm very excited to see how my body changes in the next few months!

    Pretty good for the first week!

    I know that the first week people can loose more than their going in the weeks to come but I am very happy with 4.2 pounds in my first week! The last two days were a challenge with dinners out so I went back up a bit but that's okay- that's life. four pounds is nothing to be ashamed of! This next week will probaly be one of the hardest for me- its my birthday week so I have two dinners out and of course that dreaded cake : ) gluten free cake of course!

    Decided to pay the monthly fee to become "Pro" today. Mainly because I am a financial freak and if I'm paying for something I will use it- and that way I think i will stay on this and be more accountable for longer, leading to better weight loss, fitness and nutrition! I know I have only been on this site for a few days now but I usually would have sneaked a bite or two of something sugary or fatty by now so this is pretty good for me. Dieting has always been hard for me, thank God I have never been heavy enough that its a serious issue for me. Its always just a few pounds here or there. The IPhone application helps me keep track of every thing I eat, having me take accountability for those snacks I would have "forgot" about before. I also enjoy entering my exercises and seeing the estimated calorie burned go up as the day goes on! It's keeping me motivated.

I'm a 24 year old RN, who just wants to loose a few pesky pounds from around my stomach, thighs and upper arms. I'm now gluten free so it's adding some challenges to my dieting routine....
