Back in the game again
I have had a lot of reasons and excuses lately but ultimately it is up to. I am within 10 lbs of my original goal and it has gotten harder and I have gotten less dedicated. The excuses seem to be trainer issues, the weather, childcare, pms, stress, sickness and time. Well starting this week that all goes out the window!! 2 more "lazy" days and then it is operation "your butt is almost 40 and you don't wanna be fat" and operation "bridesmaid dress". I am getting a new trainer and I will have to determine what kinda of workouts we will do. I love weight training and I hope that I am still going to be able to do that. I also have a personal goal of getting back into running again. I also want to get back unto a paleo or at least primal lifestyle. Kiss dairy and grains goodbye again. Reintroduce the parsnips, kale, sweet potatoes, and meat!!! I am looking forward to this!!! Go me!!

Cheat day
Today was cheat day or should I say cheat meal. What was surprising to me was my lack of desire to cheat. I did have some grain, cheese, and the big cheat the frozen custard. Not 20 minutes after my frozen custard I discovered I may never eat that again. The pain in my stomach is unbearable. I have to ask myself was it really worth it and the answer is NO!!

Yay!
I did it. I weighed in today I had met my first goal. I did not want to weigh in because I felt bloated but I am so glad I did. Now I am even more motivated and ready to watch the numbers fall!!

Progress what does that mean
Today I weighed in and measured and for a moment I was so proud. I am down 10 lbs since January and a few inches. Then I pulled my records from last year and noticed that I was almost in the same position a year ago. I am not going to lie I had some things happen that caused me to backslide and my body was not very forgiving. So here I am again and I asking myself. You wanna move forward, right? You have goals small term and long term goals. But what I really need to understand is that I will always have to be aware of what I eat and how much I exercise. Gone are the days of losing weight and going back to my old lifestyle. So here I go traveling in this journey that will last me the rest of my life. I know I can do it and will so much better about myself for it. So today I will celebrate the 10 lbs but understand that I am a work in progress.
