About Me
I'm a 32 y/o single mom of a pre-schooler and work a very high stress professional job. I'm here to lose about 30lbs and develop a healthy lifestyle. I lost about 20lbs two years ago but have slowly gained it all back for various reasons. I belong to Gold's and most of my cardio workouts involve the classes offered there. I can't stand being on the cardio equipment! I'm looking to kick this weight for good...for myself and for my son...and then maintain it!

Thanks for the motivation; I have actually been so crazy busy with the workouts lately that I haven't had time to update my stuff on DB. Will try to do more this weekend :0)

Body Weight
Congrats on reaching your body weight goal. I understand the detox from carbs,as I have done it myself. Keep some sugarfree gum around.

Woohooo
I started the Paleo Diet (Lifestyle Change not crash diet) on 6/1/11. The past 2 weeks have been rough detoxing from sugar and grains. But...I'm hangin in there! I haven't been logging my food because they do not suggest doing that at first and waiting to exercise until you adjust to your new diet. I think I'm going to hit a toning class on Friday.....
