P90X Day 2
I began my P90X journey "in earnest" yesterday with the new moon. Although I've been fooling around with the vids for a month now and have seen fantastic results, I've always been too easy on myself, quitting whenever I wanted, etc. Now I'm serious (ha)...I made it through chest and back pretty well and kept my logs. I did over 100 various push ups yesterday. My chest feels it today. I also did a really halfassed run at AbRipperX and made it for about 7 minutes. UGH. I am NOT an abs guy, but abs are what I'm shooting for. Today I did plyometrics and made it to about 30 minutes. I wonder how far most people get in their first run with plyo. I've made it to the 30 minute mark several times before, and gotta get more intense next time. Tomorrow it's arms and shoulders. I think I have rotaotr cuff damage in my right shoulder and it hurts all the time. I'm trtying to work through it and hopefully if I don't push it too hard, the surrounding muscles will build up and help out wiith the rotator cuff issue. It's probab;y not a major injury. Anyway, there's my first journal entry.
