It seems having to track food and nutrition allowed you to be more aware of the choices you made over the past few weeks. I'm glad you were more mindful in avoiding those not-so healthy foods. And you're right about the weights... I also like knowing how much weight I've pushed during a weight-lifting session (though i'm sure I haven't reached near the numbers you have - LOL.) In terms of tracking fiber... yeah, I think the pro account allows you to track fiber (and also sodium, cholesterol, and potassium). Unless you convince 3 of your friends to join DailyBurn (pro), I guess you're stuck to the basic nutrition logs. Good luck in your fitness program. Keep up the good work and I know you'll meet that Barbell Deadlift goal before the month is out! :)

Based on your forum post activities, it is clear how much strength training excites you. Even in your own post you talk about how much fun it is to build muscle. I think you posed a good question this week in the forums and hopefully you got the guidance you needed from the DB community. As far as the answers to other people's posts, I think you did an excellent job of providing specific and tangible options that members could walk away knowing exactly what to try or not try. Great job! :)

UNIT 6 Comments
In following your progress in Daily Burn (congrats on your 50 push-up goal, btw), I've noticed that you seem very self-motivated. One of the comments that struck me in UNIT 6 discussion is how you design your workouts in ways that fits into your day (in between breaks, lunch, etc). I think that is a very good strategy. So many people believe that a workout has to fit into this ONE time 1-2 hour time block and so often that is not the case. Good post. :)

Reflections
A) From tracking my food I was able to see just how quickly the calories added up. Having to come in here and search out the foods makes you think before you eat, and it changed my mind several times on the choices I made. I didn't want to have to come here and add pizza and cake or crap like that, so I wouldn't eat it. B) From tracking my workouts I learned just how much weight I moved per session, which I thought was pretty cool. I could look at the screen and it says I've moved 7 tons of weight today, and that's both impressive and motivating. C) DB helped me reach fitness goals by motivating me to workout, and therefore become stronger. I can do 50 pushups in one set now, I haven't tested the deadlift goal but I hit 290 for 2 today, so I don't think 225x20 is too far off, and I'll keep moving towards that goal, same with my pullup goal. Tracking workouts helps you hold yourself accountable, and I think it's a great tool. D) I think DB is a great tool, one of my favorite "tracking" sites that I've used in my college career. One thing I wish was offered was the tracking of fiber in the free membership. I think most Americans consume half of the fiber they should daily, and being able to see it more readily would help us eat a little more fiber. Other than that, the groups and forums on here are great, and helped me as it helps thousands across the globe.
