    well...

    Today I'm feeling pretty fat. I've been eating really healthy the last few days, all the way up to making my own trail mix. That shit is da bomb, but whoda thunk it was so freakin' fattening? I'm starting a new workout regime so I make sure I do some kind of exercise every day (splitting up runs and strengthening for the most part). I was just starting to see great results and get the weight down below 130 and I've stalled. That's extremely frustrating because I was losing half a pound a day, but I'm told that's pretty normal for trying to lose weight. Hopefully I can get it all back together within a few days and reach my weight goal by the end of February.

    Bad food day

    I had a terrible day in the nutrition department but I made up for it by running AND strengthening today. Then the fam took a 1.6 mile walk with the dog so I guess I made up for it. We'll see how the weight looks tomorrow...fortunately I managed to maintain last night after the spaghetti dinner - hopefully I can at least maintain after today! Oh, and mental note: NEVER, EVER run 30 minutes after eating an entire twisted Frosty. Blech.

    Almost There...

    Looking and feeling good today. Ran 3 miles again, a tad slower than last time but it's also 10 degrees warmer (75 today!). I was happy just to finish since I didn't eat lunch (saved calories for spaghetti supper!). Anyway, a great day, as I was under 130 this morning, maintained goals, and got my exercise in. Hopefully I'll be "there" by the end of the month.

    Two pounds to go!!

    I finally got under 130 this morning! The hard part is going to be staying there. I'm planning spaghetti for supper tonight, which is one of those things I eat way too much of, but oh well. I just ate a huge breakfast (and I'm skipping lunch, shame on me) but I managed to keep it pretty healthy and balanced for a change (bacon, eggs, biscuit, hashbrowns, and orange juice). I'll have my Vanilla Coke at lunch again and hopefully those 150 cals will last me until I get home to eat some carrots!

    Great Run Today!

    Today I ran 3 miles, which is 50% more than I was going (2). My goal was just to finish without walking and at a reasonable pace. I did way better than expected; my splits were 9:25, 9:26, and 8:58. Although, the last mile was pretty much flat, which helps, so I intentially set myself up for a win. That's not all bad, and I'm glad I did it. Now I'll be doing 3 mile runs every other day!
