    Good Run

    I had a pretty good run today, actually ran with the dog 2 miles. It was "hot" though; 66 degrees feels so warm after the cold spell we had (14 days in a row with freezing temps - a record for Tallahassee!). Anyway, it was good to get back out. The knee was fine and I'm hoping to run 3 miles next time I run.

    Off Day

    No workout today, but we cleaned up a lot of stuff around the house (threw out/took to Goodwill) and cleaned up the Rec Room a bit. I guess that counts as a little exercise, doesn't it? I'm hoping to get on the elliptical tomorrow and do three miles. We'll see how the knee holds out for that though. Still enjoying working out and seeing the results. I picked out a bikini today from Victoria's Secret; hopefully I'll feel good about wearing it in the next month or so. Then, all I have to do is maintain - which ain't so easy either, but at least it's easier than losing those five pesky pounds! :)

    Wow

    Despite a decadent meal at Ted's last night, I managed to maintain my weight - nice! Trying to ramp up the weights a bit starting this week. I'm having trouble with my knee (runner's knee) so I'm taking it easy on the cardio (tried the elliptical today and it wasn't too bad but only did 1.5 miles and now I'm aching a bit). Shaping up is actually turning out to be fun and it's becoming somewhat of an obsession. I guess there are worse things to be addicted to than trying to look good, right? ;-)

    Made a workout

    After two days off, I managed to run 2 miles and do sit-ups. I am not doing any weights for a few days (or pushups) because of a pulled muscle, but I'm going to keep up the running and the sit-ups as best I can! I should run an extra half mile I guess - starting next week at the latest I'm going to up the mileage to 3.2 if I can do it.

    I've been so bad...

    But I'll make it up to myself, I promise! I took two days off from working out due to a pulled muscle and of course then I pigged out on everything in sight. Back to the grind today hopefully. Maybe I should give up the oatmeal for breakfast, as it's so full of carbs. Or possibly save the Coke for lunch instead of first thing in the morning...hmmm.
