    Goal has been hit

I'm 166 and maintaining my weight. It's time to start a more rigorous training regiment. I want to add muscle and stamina and track everything for 90 days. My own private P90x.

    Thanks (:

For remarking on my accomplishment! It had definitely been a long haul, but well worth it in the end. Sounds like you've made some awesome progress too! Congratulations!

    Post birthday weight gain

So I hopped on the scale today and I'm at 169 now after a weekend where I had a couple of beers (first in months) and indulged in cake and a White Chocolate Mocha. Lucky for me the calorie intake was primarily liquid. I'm being sure to take in a LOT of water and I took another 3 mile walk today. I expect that tomorrow I will again drop down and should hit my goal weight by week's end. I think the think about making good diet and fitness a staple in your life is realizing that you'll never be perfect ...and you don't have to be. 80% compliancy should mask the 20% of the time you fall short of your daily/weekly goals.

    Friday weigh in

I normally don't like weighing in a lot but I'm feeling like I've hit a milestone as far as losing fat is concerned. I'm feeling better and my light workouts and walks are having a positive effect on my body and spirits. Today I weighed in at 171.6 the lightest i've been in years. I'm a mere 6lbs from my goal weight. Exciting times.

    Houston trip

Well I got back from my Houston trip on Friday and let me just say I broke a record for calorie intake. Work trips always involve eating too much and I certainly fell in line. Came back tipping the scales nearly 4 lbs heavier. Yikes! I'm glad to say though that I put the brakes on over the weekend, drank lots of water and bumped up my exercise and this morning the scale read exactly what it did last wednesday. I erased those 3.5 lbs and I'm prepared to make an assault on 170lbs hopefully by next monday.
