    Hiatus Fail

    Wanted to but failed. Found myself in the middle of a 3.5 mile interval run.... Bum BUm BUM. Guess it's better than eating chicken wings. Also too bad you can't log interval running. They should make that feature standard on the iPhone app... It DEFINATELY has the capabilities.

    On Hiatus

    Just going on Hiatus for a week to give my self a chance to fully recover. I feel like I've been wearing myself thin lately and with such a restricted calorie diet my body has not been getting what it needs. So I'm taking some time off from all "physical" activity. and allowing my body to catch up.

    Title...

    Oh, the treadmill I have is definitely not that "high tech" haha, that thing is probably somewhere between 10-15 years old. But it does chart how many miles I go & then also keeps track of how many fat calories/calories I burn. I'm sure the numbers aren't completely accurate, but they give me a general idea at least. And no, I haven't tried any of the challenges on here. I'm on the "free" service on DailyBurn, so I'm not sure if I'm even able to or not! I have to start stepping up my workout routine though because cardio alone just isn't cutting it. I joined DailyBurn on April 17th this year, and since then I've only lost like 2lbs, its pathetic haha. I weigh myself once a week on Saturdays, so tomrorow maybe I'll hopefully see the needle on the scale go down another notch or two. We shall see!

    Burnin' those calories...

    Hi...It took me a while to figure out how to post a message back to you haha, I almost posted a message on my own board thinking that was the way to do it! (dumb!) Well all I'm doing right now is just using a treadmill, I need to start incorporating some weights into my routine though, right now I'm just doing cardio. I'm not 100% sure if my calories burned is accurate, I'm only going by what the treadmill says. When I'm done with a run (well, jog...) the machine says I burned around 315 fat calories, and about 1000 regular calories. I log the "regular" calories thinking that's what I'm supposed to be entering...plus the number is bigger, it makes me feel a little more accomplished haha. In reality, it might be the smaller number...again, I'm not sure! But I'm also on the treadmill for about 2 hours, no joke, & the distance I travel is 9 miles. I don't do this daily though, only 2x a week :-)
