Woot! 157.4 I've Made It!
I just weighed myself with my Wii Fit and I see that I'm now down to 157.4lbs. That's just .2 from my long term goal and the Wii fits recommended ideal weight for me.

Sick as a Dog, Antibiotics to the Rescue
Since last Friday, I've been sick as a dog. I think I made matters worse by trying to run on Saturday and play vball on Monday. By Tuesday, I had a wicked fever and saw the doctor. The antibiotics kicked in late Wednesday night. I worked from home Wed-Fri recovering. I have not watched my diet or exercised since Monday. My weight has held, but my strength has diminished. I need to get back in the saddle and soon!

Woot! Ran 3+ Consecutive Miles!
Bless me father for it has been 2 weeks since my last run. My first 3+ mile "run/jog". I shuffled along and managed to finish it. I found the trick to making it is to drop my HR from its normal 144-146 bpm down to ~135-140 bpm. In that range I was able to extend my distance beyond my previous 2 mile barrier. I feel spent tonight. I think the strength training I've been doing helped my run - squats especially.
