About Me
Do you ever have those moments where you ask yourself "What the heck am I doing this for?"? Well, that's kinda my entire day.

Actually, when doing challenges, I record the total I did across all sets. I figured out a system for doing a crazy number of reps in a day. I'll do a set every 5-10 minutes for an hour (for example, doing 7 every 6 minutes would give me a total of 70 for the hour). Then, I take an hour off, and then I do another hour. I'll usually do three of those in a day. So, 70 pullups in an hour, three times, gives me 210 for the day. As you can understand, I don't enter each set individually. That would be too much hassle. So, I just enter the total for the hour after I finish it. What I found interesting, however, is that, every couple of days, I'm able to increase my reps another 2 or so.... if I'm willing to fight through the soreness.

Good job! Your consistency is inspirational. I got up to 26 at one time but seem to be slipping back to where I can only get 18-20. How many sets do you do each workout? I usually just do 1. Any advice other than to lose weight, which I know would help?

Doh!
I rode in the 50-mile Solvang half-century today and got *hit* by a *car* at mile *49*. Fortunately, I didn't suffer any brain, skeletal, or ligament damage (only a gash on my knee), but the bike wasn't going *anywhere* because the front tire was taco'd. I wasn't going to give up this close to the end, though, so I carried the bike the last mile to the finish. A 49-mile ride with a 1-mile walk.... I'm calling that a "Joe Biathlon"

Thanks for the motivation and diet advice.
Great stuff you wrote on my journal. Every 2.5 hours huh.. That will be challenging, but with planning I think it might work.
