I am bz, bz, bz! I'm a full time mom, wife & student who has not been practicing what she preaches. I need to get back in shape, I didn't meet my goals for November, but I have renewed motivation and am determined to stay on track. Maybe I'll meet my goals by February.

Great job meeting your calorie goal last week. I am checking in. I have been doing pretty good as far as I can tell, just by paying attention to my calories. Need more exercise, but there isn't always enough energy for that. I feel good about meeting my goal of losing 10lbs before my birthday. It's coming off, slowly but surely. Can't wait to see you in a few days!

Smoke-Free?
How's it going? Logging? Working out? Quit smoking? I hope all is well. - Jenny

answer :)
That is the great part about the bodybugg, it keeps track of all your activity...even the little stuff that you wouldn't even think to log into dailyburn. That is what the bodybugg does. The only drawback is that it's not waterproof, so if I swim I do have to enter that in manually. So all you have to track is your food intake. The bodybugg keeps track of every cal you burn, either working out or sitting on your butt, 24/7. It even adjusts for when you aren't wearing it by calculating what you burn at rest and adding that to your total (like when you are sleeping). If you are thinking about getting one, I would really shop around and don't pay full price. The only plus to getting it new is that the price covers 6 months to a year of the subscription (depending on where you buy it).

bodybugg
I agree, I think it's crap that you have to have the subscription. However, the subscription is the same price as the dailyburn subscription. And I actually think that if you wanted to work harder at it, you could go without it by using the free daily burn and having the watch. The watch tells you how many cals you burned. If you use dailyburn to input what you ate, you could figure out your deficit that way without the subscription. But that's just a theory, I'm not totally sure it would work, because the thing eventually has to be charged. But I don't think you have to be logged in to charge it. So, it should work that way, but who knows. Having the subscription makes things easier for sure though.
