Now that the holidays are past us, and I think my cold is going away I plan to get back on track today with the eating and exercising. I certainly need it!

Well...
The after Christmas weigh in was not a huge success...I knew that would happen, but time to move onward and get back to serious work. Of course I had ginger snaps for breakfast, but hopefully not for lunch :)

So Close!
You're so close to your goal weight, and I'm so close to losing 50 pounds! I'm hoping to hit 217 before the 31st, but it's so hard with all this eating out and not excercising a lot. I'm doing the Wii Fit (logging it as step aerobics), but I don't think I'm burning nearly the same amount of calories that I do when I go to the gym. On the other hand, it's better than nothing. I'm making the best choices that I can when eating out and limiting myself to just one ___ ( ___ could be cookie, chocolate covered pretzel, biscuit, candy, etc.). One is not as good as zero, but one is better than two in this case. I might be on vacation, but I'm determined to keep this healthy lifestyle going. Hope you're doing well, and hope you put the rest of the cookies away for Santa! - Jenny

Good job getting all your exercise in! I have been doing so crappy. I lasted two days and then I succumbed to the cookies! I've decided that it's just not going to happen this week. I'm going to try to start keeping track next week. Hopefully I can get to the gym next week too...praying that the kids are better by monday!! I'm so limited for working out when I can't get the gym because I can't work out at home with the kids, and it's soooo cold at 630 am (and rainy) that I can't run in the morning. But I will do better next week...I just need to get through Christmas!!
