haven't been on since the annoying ads
Sorry, I have an aversion to web ads that jump, blink and otherwise annoy. I'm still losing, but I've not been exercising often enough.

and back
Took a little break to recoup and focus on writing. I'm finally matched to the new scale too, so everything from now on is 10lbs more than the old scale

First flat walk since the bolder boulder
I did 5 miles this morning in 1:18 -- a modified loop route of the bolder boulder course and almost 40% of a half-marathon. I think I like hilly trails better than flat. It just seems more interesting to me. I have a group hike coming up on Friday, but I think I'll try 10 miles on the weekend and see where I'm at vis a vis registering for the denver half marathon next month.

sombrero trail run results
The results are in and I matched my quicker goal at 1:10:36, which takes over a minute/mile off of my bolderboulder pace (and considering there was an elevation gain of ~900ft, not too shabby). I'm going to be pondering the denver half-marathon for a while. In the meantime, back to the diet

Sombrero Run
Did the sombrero run yesterday, rewarded myself with a digiorno 4-meat pizza (yum -- until the ick). I think it was too much fat at once and my stomach just couldn't handle it anymore after a pseudo-healthy diet of "normal" portions. I ate a little more than normal today also. Back to normal routine tomorrow.
