Yum... Strep...
Haven't been feeling well for a while - stuffy nose, sinus pressure, all that good stuff. I figured it was a sinus infection, and let it sit until my cholesterol check. Then I started with the super sore throat, and after 3 days of that and a fever, I decided it was about time I go to the doctor. Verdict? Strep and a sinus abcess. HUGE antibiotics that are absolutely repulsive, no work today or tomorrow, and yep. For now, I'm sitting at home, drinking a ton of fluid and hanging out in bed, watching movies with The Guy. I'm also not really caring what I eat, so when my calories are way low one day, and way high the next - I'm sort of watching what I'm doing, and going to go from there once I get my phone transitioned - April 7th! Yay!

Guess who got lazy?
This girl right here. Really, quite a few things in my life kind of blew up in succession, along with no longer having a vehicle (and it's been icy out, and I have the worst balance EVER so getting to the gym would have been more of a challenge than being at the gym), and I just kind of got... lazy. On the plus side, I'm going to be progressively less lazy. Mostly waiting until the beginning of April when we get switched from Alltel to AT&T, so I have access to my GPS on my new phone, and I'm going to start walking outside. Excepted for some of the apps I've downloaded - really wishing that DailyBurn had an Android app. :/

YAY!
Ok, so not totally yay. :P My scale just reads "E" (that's what I get for buying a cheap one, right?) and I haven't gone to the gym for a while because some financial stuff came up that kinda had to win out, but yay for my doctor's appointment yesterday! :D I don't have to have my cholesterol checked until March because it's going down so very much! I got my depo, which I wasn't positive I was going to do, and a flu shot, and in a few days I should feel pretty human again. :D

OMG Blech.
I give myself a bad day once in a while. Yesterday? Definitely a REALLY bad day... namely because apparently my depo shot is seriously fucking with me (I'm due for a new one the middle of next month), and I started my period the 19th. 3 days, almost a week off, then bam - full force and massive cramps and all I wanted was to eat because it makes me ridiculously ravenous. So yep, yesterday was a REALLY bad day, and before I get my next shot, I'm talking with my doc... the appeal of this was not having my period (and excruciatingly painful cramps that have made me vomit and miss work), and if the shot is wearing off early then something needs to be done. I also don't want to end up with unplanned kids when the fiancee moves here... so this has to get figured out and taken care of.

Allergies
I'm hoping to get some testing done soon - the earliest the allergist could see me is Oct. 6th which is better than the GI place, can't get in there until Oct. 20th. Yay for Friday right!
