Here goes nothing, part deux
I've been really bad about staying committed. There are just so many temptations and working a late schedule doesn't help. I have to do this for me. i'm ready to accomplish my goal. I'm ready to be a new person. Same me, just more comfy in my skin. DO IT!

1 step forward, 2 steps back
so i ran my 5k this weekend. It was so much harder than I imagined it would be. I thought I was prepared enough, but I wasn't. the race took me 46 minutes. I got passed by 2 sets of middle aged walkers. that was really embarassing. But I DID IT! I actually finished my first 5k without stopping to jog. The next one is less than one month away. I hope to take 3 minutes off my time. I have no idea if that is reasonable or not, but i sure am going to try. i also weighed myself today. up to my highest point ever. This is completely riduclous. I know what i need to do to get healthy but I continue to put it off. I have to do a better job of caring for myselfnot to mention i am paying for a gym membership i am not using. Goals for the week: pack my lunch every day walk the dogs in the morning 2 days jog 30 mins - 3 days

Come On Jill!
I have officially gained back all I lost since starting gyminee. I'm so bummed. It sucks that it takes months to take off a few lbs but only a couple of weeks to gain it back. But I have a goal to run a 5k at the end of August. That means running 3 times a week to prepare. Plus I have pilates at the gym once a week. Once I get through the 5k, I will start working in some weight training. I don't want to overload myself right now. I have trouble keeping up with it and the more I commit to, the more I will fail. So just running and pilates for now. I know I can do this. And the running is going to take off the lbs. I hope to be 13 lbs lighter by the end of August. we shall see!
