About Me
I'm serious about putting on some size this year, like working out but find it hard to keep eating as much as I should and to keep up consistent workouts with a hectic work schedule. So, anyone out there wanting to help with the motivation and keeping me on the straight and narrow, all help welcomed!

jndavies's Journal
May 2010
Well...Jan-Mar, were pretty good, with consistent workouts 2-3 times a week (mostly 3) and then, well, it all went a bit to pot and pressures at work led to me being run down and before i knew it a month off. Back in the gym yesterday though, aching like crazy today, but it's good to be back on it!

2010 Update
Well November and December were a bit of a write off, due to two bouts of flu and then Christmas, but 2010 has so far been pretty good, regular workouts and i'm trying to set some goals to keep me driving forward thru the year...more of that later!

Back in the gym..
Well I made it to the gym tonight, was tired but forced myself down there. Had a good workout, place was a bit busier but not too busy, could jump on everything I needed and it was nice to be back in a social space to workout rather than on my own at home. Going to try and go again on sunday/tues/thurs before my long weekend away.

Title...
So having been so fired up about the new gym last saturday, i've yet to go back. The back injury left me feeling very bad for several days. Two trips to the osteopath and a full massage later, and i'm almost back to normal. Think it's gonna be light weights on back day for a while though.

Ouch...
Trapped a nerve or something in my back today doing squats, wasn't going especially heavy, but first set, seventh rep and OW. Spent rest of the day wincing. On the up side, tried a new gym, really great place, will be joining up next week!
