185 achieved!
Now it's time to focus on getting my body fat down to 18% and let the final weight total land wherever it will.

18% body fat is just inside the healthy range
for my age, so given my current lean body mass of 140 pounds, I need to get down to 171 pounds to get to 18% body fat. I will reset my body weight goal as soon as I hit my initial goal of 185 (which should happen in a week or so). Wow, that would be a total loss of just over 50 pounds. 50 unnecessary pounds. Whew. Onward and upwar...er...downward. h/t http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/ibw/

Looks like my scale is fine...
...because, you know, the way you know your scale is functioning properly is whether it or not it is reporting that you've lost weight. Anyway, hello 195, I haven't seen you in 10 years!

Ok, either my scale is busted or...
...I'm officially on a plateau. You would think that daily hydration fluctuations would create a little variance from day to day. Anyway, I'm going to give it another week and if I'm still stuck at 197, I guess I'll have to raise my calories to my maintenance level for a week or two so my body will let me start losing fat again.
