    Back at it again!

I'm feeling refreshed after a long 2 week vacation in Michigan! I'm energized and ready to get back into the swing of things with my fitness routined! I've got some new goals and after thinking long and hard about how to best go about achieving them I've decided to make my profile more public and look for encouragement from my peers. I've updated both my DailyBurn.com and FitBit.com accounts to be public. I'll set public goals and allow everyone to see my bodyweight and progress.

Today was rough... mentally really, really hard. I missed my workout last night but made up for it tonight working out. I feel mentally stronger after working out... It helps. Today was really hard at work. Actually the last two days. Things started out rough and have just gottenworse. People issues, project issues, not enough time. I need to spend time tomorrow taking back this effort that I'm putting in at work. I need to catch my breath. I'm confident that tomorrow will be the first step there and that things are going to go great starting first thing in the morning! As for tonight's workout I tried hard to spend time as I was doing my exercises visualizing how that would transform me and my lifestyle. I find this easiest to do during the crunches and can get some really strong mental images during those exercises. Pushups are the hardest to be mentally focused through. They are just tough for me regardless of if I'm doing them on my knees or on my toes (I did 80% of them on my toes today... which is a big win for me!).

Feeling great this morning. Started eating Protein bars again Saturday as the schedule was just getting too crazy and I was ill prepared for weekend meal preparation. I figure a protein bar is better than junk food. I stayed strong over the whole weekend, and let me tell you ... I was tested! Saturday morning it started with an easter breakfast at the zoo which I passed on then it was McDonalds in the car for the boy after the zoo which I passed on. Saturday night it was a birthday dinner for Cori at a Mexican food restaurant .... I had their salmon and black beans. Sunday morning it was Easter candy - again I passed. Sunday afternoon it was "Easter Dinner" again here I stayed strong only having a Salad and some beans! Lots of protein bars for me this weekend but overall a healthy weekend! Also I met my weight goal on Saturday morning! Whew that felt good! Also body measurements are almost all down between 2 and 6 centimeters!

A little low on energy towards the end of the work day today. I'm getting stronger by the day and workouts are getting easier... thought still a lot tougher than they should be. I'm feeling good though! Looking forward to meeting my weight goal tomorrow. Need to start doing body measurements tomorrow!
