    Re: Daily Burn

Congrats on losing an inch off of your waist!! By simply bringing an increased awareness to your eating and exercising, you were able to see your efforts pay off! Keep up the good work and always remain committed to your healthy choices! Enjoy your spring! :) (PS regarding half a serving... sometimes you can type in 0.5 in the serving size. That may help)

    DAILY BURN : )

My experience with DAILY BURN was wonderful. I was able to easily log my eating habits –helping me become more aware of what I was eating. And it also helps me keep on track of my weekly exercises –helping me to achieve my smart goals. One thing that could be updated is when you log your foods, if you can add only a half of a serving instead of having to add a whole serving of food -especially if you did not eat that much. Thanks to daily burn I have lost an inch in my waist and am continuing to tackle my smart goals- which I am going to achieve, although the class is ending I am still going to pursue my goals. I will continue to use daily burn after this class is over and even recommend this site to friends and family. Thanks for sharing this great experience that I will continue to use it my everyday life. : )

    Motivation

I motivated pbeechler, azkaitlyn, alexguerra15 in this week’s assignment. There are a few things that motivate me to continue to make healthy choices. First I would have to say my support system; my husband is always motivating me to keep track of my exercise goals. And by working out with someone seems to always be fun and it is a lot harder to cancel an exercise program if you are supposed to be meeting someone there. I find it very fun to workout with others –it makes the time go by fast. I choose yoga to help strengthen my breathing techniques. During the workout I kept on thinking how much more relaxed I would feel afterward as well as what a good night’s sleep I would get if I finished -that really motivates me.

    Motivation

Hey Hun! I noticed that you asked me what foods I eat? I know that I havent had the time to post as often as we're supposed to. Sorry. Lately I have been trying to eat smaller, less fatty meals and incorporate more veggies and protein. I usually start w special K cereal or a special K breakfast bar because I do not always have time to cook my fiance and I breakfast before we start the day and the breakfast meals I like seem to be really fatty too. Then I'll have a low cal soup or a homemade sandwich or wrap for lunch. Or if I do not eat a full lunch I'll snack. Today I had one pita and some hummus and a couple slices of fresh tomato. For dinner we are trying to incorporate fish with no batter and some sort of asparagus or spinach or spring mix salad. I also try to not really use dressing and such lately. As far as your post to the motivated forum, I do indeed find it more helpful to stay on target when working out with someone else and not just alone. BUT, if they are someone who tends to slack off as well or get burned out, I usually follow suit. So for me, it always helps me to have some days where I work out with someone and other days when I work out alone. That way if I am cancelled on and do not make it out alone that planned day, I usually still make it out for the days that I am already scheduled to work out alone. That way the whole week isn't a wash. But I've been having some crazy health issues lately, so I am not the best to give advice on motivation lately. Keep up the good work girl!
