Day one of Cleanse/Pre Cutting week
Ok, its the first day of a 5-7 day week of detoxing, cleansing coupled with a removing of most simple carbs except for Fruits and some juices. Also the removal of high salts and the addition of extra vegetables. Its going to be a horrible week filled with hunger pains and dull headaches. Will not be striving for ketosis or a ketonic state, but just cleaning up the diet this week. Diet will mostly consist of Nonfried Fish, Turkey, Chicken Breast, variety of Veggies, oatmeal, almonds, some Fruits and a ton of water, Protein shakes of numerous types along with supplements. Will most likely drop about 3 lbs this week, and by next Monday the Shredding will begin.

Slim Mode/Beast Mode
For the last 2 to 3 weeks i have been working on losing fat and water weight, while maintaining strength. Ive increased my cardio activity, but did so a little to fast. While i was still 265lbs i didnt get myself in cardio shape for a week or so, (jogging, stretching etc) and couldnt resist the invite to play. The result, 5 half court games, no worries, the 6th half court game of basketball, and i slightly tweaked an ankle. So for the last 2 weeks i have been trying to do cardio and rehab it. Today its finally feeling better, as i was able to jog for half a mile without alot of pain. This week has been my week of double days of some sort. Ive been doing cardio and core in the morning and weight training during my lunch. Ive been able to pull off these 2 sessions for the 3rd straight day. I now have 4 weeks before a cruise and its time to really crack down on my diet and work on definition. Im currently down to 252lbs, yet my legs have gotten stronger. Put up 465lbs* 6x on my 8th sets of squats after during 4 sets of weight lunges before attacking the squat machine. (*i instantly dropped set to 4 plates, 405lbs and finished 3 more reps to make it 9 reps that final set... yep almost vomited. Great feeling!)

My Return/Bulking Cycle/Tough Day
Been gone a while from the Daily Burn site, but i have been staying pretty consistent. I am on my 4 or 5th week of bulking. Should be finishing my 6th week by the end of this month, and then will start shredding and getting into cardio shape. Have made some nice gains, but caught the flu last week. Which is such a bummer. For the last 8 days has been a barrage of coughing, aches and pains. Im at the tail end of the flu, as I did go to the doctor Monday to make sure things are not getting worse. But this cough is kicking my butt. The DR, confirmed that the cough can linger around for weeks after you get over the flu. Grr. The worse part is my Sleep! Keeps me feeling drained. Im currently sleeping under 4 hours a night due to the constant cough. Monday and Tuesday night was 2-3 hours, and last night was 4 hours for the first itme in a while. Hoping to kick this cough by the weekend. As for todays lunch time gym visit. Had a Big Leg Day, filled with a ton of coughs and light headed dizziness due to the constant cough and increase in weight I attempted to squat. Somehow i was able to grind it out. Was able to get 4 plates and a quarter 6x and dropset the final 4 reps with just the 4 plates. (Though I felt like I was about to pass out lol. I think im a masochist, actually I know I am and most gym junkies are who else would do this to themselves.) Tomorrow is Chest day. My goal during my bulking season is to double up on Bench and Legs in a week. Its been tough, but i gotta make it happen. So my return is official. Let the bulking continue!

You went from under 240 to over 255?? haha, well I hadn't been doing so well either, but I'm working out this bum knee either way. so I need to know how this thing works!

Challenge.
Turkey day? More like turkey weekend. Was TOO powerful over my will, as you can see from the weight gain on my profile page. But I'm back on track and staying focused, hopefully losing body fat and not muscle.
