    The Climb

    So I'm doing most things right, not everythg but most things. I've set myself some goals ( yesterday I did a plyo fit test that nearly killed me!) and I'm training for a run in May so I think I'm doing well. It's been hard to spring back over Christmas but hey, it's the end of January - I need to stop using that as an excuse. In other good news, there is a new gym opening near me in about 6 weeks or so and I'm so keen to join. I've had memberships in the past and just stopped going after a while but this one is on my way home from work- it will be unavoidable! Can't wait to train hard and get the body I deserve... My new role model is Jennifer Nicole Lee. Not because of the millions of ridiculous machines she endorses but because of her motto - strong is the new skinny!!

    Back on track

    So Christmas has been and gone. I did ok but I really need to knuckle down and get back on track. It seems I've managed to become addicted to chocolate again so that's got to go but still, I did better than previous Christmases. I was active and somewhat disciplined. Lol.

    well done you, iv not done very well with my diet over christmas but am going to get back into it and get some personal training and loose the weight! Well done and keep going I know how hard it is x

    Can you believe it!!!

    Turns out being sick agrees with me! Imagine what will happen when I finally start trying again!!. But in all seriousness we're heading into the pointier end of the Festive Season now and I know that this good streak will not continue on its own. I love that something in my body is clicking but now I need to get my head back in the game. Even if it is full of snot!

    Arrrgh - another obstacle

    Ive had laryngitis for the last week or so and I'm never sure if its safe to exercise when you're sick. Some people say sure go ahead, some people say no its dangerous... so Ive been compramising and just doing weight training but I feel like I've been lazy. Of course the last thing I feel like doing is working out and eating well but I desperately dont want to lose any of the awesome progress Ive made so far. And coming into Christmas I seem to have become a cookie monster. That is, I cant stop baking them and of course this leads to the eating of said cookie. Must stay on track, must stay on track must stay on track!!!!
