Hello!!
I am a coffee nut so here is my two cents. Play around with different types of coffee. If you brew at home pay attention in the grocery store. On the packages it will say what kinda roast and flavour the coffee is. Each growing region has different flavours due to the different minerals in the soil. Personally I dislike coffees from Africa. I love Cuban coffee as well as Mexican blends. I've noticed that with some coffees i need milk and sugar while with others I need nothing. If you're a starbucks fan talk to your barista. They are very knowledgeable. I prefer nutty coffees (have subtle nutty undertones). My fav starbucks blend is the organic shade grown mexico. Cuban coffees in general have a lower acidity (Platinumplan i suggest this for you to avoid heartburn!) Most packaged coffees should list the acidity level, and brew strength. Look for lower acidity levels to avoid heartburn and i find it's easier to go without sugar with lower acidic coffees. I hope this helps!!!

Hello -
Kabraham... regarding coffee. I used to drink coffee with 2 sugar and 2 cream. I slowly starting eliminating the sugar. I mean, by 1/2 tsp per coffee, per week. You don't really notice too much of a difference, but at this rate, you get used to it. Now, I can't possibly drink coffee that has sugar in it. After I got rid of the sugar, I did the same thing with the creamer. I started replacing 1/2 tsp per coffee, per week with whole milk. Once I got used to the taste of whole milk, I did the same thing, but went down to 2% milk. Then I did the same thing and went down to skim milk. Now I put skim milk in my coffee. I actually prefer it black now, but I get heart burn when I drink it black so I add skim (maybe interaction with my medication???) Maybe this could work for you.

New dietary change
So, I havent been great about posting my food lately, but I did decide to try a new thing to help with one of my weaker areas. I usually don't post my coffee intake unless it is in excess of my usual 2 cups a day. While coffee has limited calories in itself, I always use high-calorie creamer in my coffee (not the sugar-free kind either). So I've decided to try making my coffee stronger and put vanilla coconut milk in my coffee instead of flavored and sugar ladend creamer. It's not nearly as good, but it works. That milk has 90 calories per 8oz while my usual creamer has 90 calories per 2 tbsp. So, i'm not sure how much I'm using, but it's way less than 8 oz. Anyway... we'll see if I stick to it!
