    Hey there

Looks like you've taken some time off too. I'm just getting back "to work" this week myself after a month off. Just wanted to touch base and remind you, spring is just a couple months away :D

    Title...

funny you said that about your feet going numb! My sister in law said the same thing happened to her. She bought a treadmill and was all excited to use it but found it made her feet go numb...that sounded so strange. Would be interested to hear the research on that. I will tell her about wearing gym socks instead of shoes. haha you never know what random stuff you write might help someone else eh? Thanks.

    Learning to Treadmill

It finally got cold enough for me to head to the little gym at our apartments. Honestly today I could have run outside. I was even jelous of the man I saw running outside through the windows, but I need to practice running on the treadmill and getting used to it. I like that I am in better control of my speed and heart rate, but man is it boring. I thought about loading my iphone up with movies to make it easier, but then I can't get the run/walk cues >.</ I really like that it feels easier on my legs, no shin splints, no twisting my knees and ankles to see if a car is comming. Biggest drawback is that there is only one, so if someone is using it, then I'm out of luck. That happened the first day I was down there. I had to use the elliptical which was a great workout, but the machine down there makes my feet go numb. Did some research, and someone had the idea of just wearing "gym" socks instead of shoes on it to stop the numbness. Now I just have to get the courage up to but on big fuzzy socks instead of shoes if it happens again. Spring can't come soon enough! Off to do some cleaning, and some last minute Chirstmas shopping.

    Huzzah!

Wheeeee! I did my first week 3 and it wasn't that bad at all! I was able to keep going, and not nearly die at the 1:35 mark. Tommorrow will be a light run, and then back to week 3 on Sunday.
