re-vamped goals
This year's fitness goals, I know it's February already but believe me, I have been working on them since Jan 1st. My first fitness goal is to run the Seattle Rock N Roll 1/2 marathon in June. The second is to ride RAGBRAI in July. This year is going to be great!!!

July = new beginnings
i have been having stomach problems in July, they actually started at the end of June.... I have started back on eating very healthy, and because of the stress of school and work and life, I have started running again for emotional release. I am down about 6 pounds from the beginning of July, but I have a loooonnnggg way to go. I seem to be staying right around 800-1000 calories per day and am losing. although the last 3 mornings I have gained. My goal for July is to get down 10 pounds from where I started (227) and then for August to be down another 8 pounds, this will put me where I was last year in November.... Another goal is to run the Seattle 1/2 marathon this November so I have to keep on running!

April...2010
I am starting again... today is April 1st. For this whole month, my goal is to write down everything I eat and stay within my calorie range. I am also keeping track of my Weight Watchers points and will not go over my allotted points each day. I think I need to do something radical... no cheating!!!!

10/14/09
so I have tried to stick to 1200 calories intake of food per day. I have not been very successful at it. Last night I got protein shake powder from costco, hopefully I can make it today... I have a birthday lunch for work...need to be good... salad sounds good right now.

starting today
I went to the doctor's this morning to have some blood work done to help determine why I can't seem to loose any weight, or more aptly, why I am gaining weight while I am exercising and eating considerably healthy. I realize I never typed down any goals, being that I am not really a goal-making type of person, but any good eating and exercise plan needs a goal! My weight goal is actually 150 pounds (60 pounds to lose). I would like to lose 8 pounds in the month of October. I think this should be an attainable weight loss! My exercise goal is to exercise everyday. This is especially important since I have Rheumatoid arthritis (currently in remission) and would like to keep it in remission. With the winter rainy months headed this way I will move to the indoors for some elipitical, running on the treadmill, yoga, rowing and strength training focusing on my arms and abs.
