I'm glad to hear you got something out of the nutrition log. You might want to check out dailyplate.com - they have a pretty extensive nutrition log, too. Their exercise log isn't as good as DB, but it doesn't sound like tracking your workouts is a priority - and that's fine. These kinds of sites are mainly here for 2 reasons: 1) To help people become aware of their behaviors - like how much they are eating or not eating, for example. and 2) To build a network of friends to help keep each other motivated. Anything beyond that is a bonus. If you are already active and have a support group to keep you motivated outside of DB or any other similar site... then that's awesome! Keep active, keep healthy! And good luck with your academic endeavors! :)

Motivation seems to be the key to success, doesn't it? Especially when it comes to exercise, staying motivated to get up and go to the gym feels like step 1. I know in the forum posts you mentioned something about how hard it is to go to the gym especially when you have a lot of homework that needs to get done. Sometimes when you find yourself working on stuff, you don't have to go so far as going to the gym and getting a full workout in. Sometimes, a walk around the block will be all you can fit in. As long as you take a break to move your body, that is the most important!

You have created several custom workouts but I am unable to comment on the overall workout without your having to compile them under one program. Unfortunately, I don't know the overall goal, the days you plan on doing the workouts, and your rest days. I also can't view the sets/reps of each exercise. However, in just looking at your individual custom workouts, I can see that you have selected a lot of varied exercises. Just remember, when it comes to strength training - everything you do to the front, you should do to the back so you have a balanced workout. You have a lot of chest, core/abs, biceps, quads... and not enough hams, back, rear delts, triceps... :)

I think that it was usefull to see and have to remember exactly what i ate through the day. I didnt have all the chances to log in everyday, but I always like seeing that I had stayed in my calorie range for the days that i did log my food. I feel that tracking my workouts weren't as effective as tracking the food. It was fun to create workouts, but actually logging it could get kind of annoying. I think that if i had put a little bit more effort into logging in everyday then it could have been helpful, but I am not the kind of person that has the patience for it everyday. It was good to experience, and it taught me a little bit more about these online tracking sites. This was a fun class and I learned a lot! :)
