CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Good job my friend! You're an Ironman. Sorry to hear about the poor conditions but I'm really glad you made it throught. I must have been an exhausting day but I'm sure you enjoyed every moment especially that incredible feeling when reaching the finish and hearing the magic words: YOU'RE AN IRONMAN. I'm still training even thought I'm not tracking it anymore and enjoying it more. I will not race an IM this year and I will try to work my speed without any pressure and give me a year to get really better. Congratulations one more time, enjoy!

Goals for 2012
You're right about setting up goals, because without I'm stuck not knowing what to do. My goal would be to qualify for Kona, but I can see I'm far from it and it can't be a goal for this year and it's hard to have a goal over a few years. This is why I haven't committed to any race yet. If I sign up for an Ironman, I know I won't qualify, so I feel, like 'why do it if I'm not ready', but in the meantime, if I don't have a race lined up, I won't be training enough so I will never be ready. I though about doing a few 70.3 this year or even going to Xterra... still thinking...

Hello!
Hello Mario and happy new year. I'm fine.. but I haven't logged in for a while. I did the Las Vegas Marathon at the beginning of December and I haven't signed up for any race for 2012 yet. Maybe I'll do IM Zurich again. What about you?

Shorter Goals
Let's start with the goal of me running a full 5k first and we will talk when I get closer to doing an Iron Man. That is not even in my vocabulary right now. Did some interval training this past weekend and was able to do 2 minutes jogging vs 1 minute walking and I did it for the entire 3.2 miles, so this will me my koodos for now.

Book
Hi Mario, I will check the book you mentionned. Seems very interesting especially since I'm having a hard time improving my swim... I'll let you know how it turns out. What about you and your IM?
