    Gained 2 lbs. this week. I was still sore from the walk and really didn't do too much exercising. Not an excuse. Need to work harder next week.

    Civista 5K Run/Walk

    I did it! I completed the Civista 5K Run/Walk. It was very tiring though. The race was 3.1 miles. My first mile, I ran 11.43 min. The second was 23. something and I finished the race at 36:02.25. I think that was pretty good considering I never run. I don't even run on the treadmill. I ran (slowly jogged) most of the race. The only time I walked was about 2 1/2 miles in in front of the hospital. It was a big hill and my heart rate monitor kept beeping at me. It was showing my heart rate was at 103! Once I got to the Dash-In, I started jogging again though. I could see that the race was almost over. The people in the Biggest Loser group were supposed to do the race also, but I was the only one who ended up doing it. That's ok though. I am very proud of myself for completing the race, especially since we were running in the rain the whole time. I came in 176th place. I'm not sure how many people ran though. At least 250. I think I can do better if I actually run some before the race. I am going to sign up for another race again. Not sure when yet. But I know that I can do it!

    Last week I gained .4. Today I weighed in at 186.6, so that's a loss of .8 from last week. However, it's only a loss of .4 from where I started. Still a loss. Didn't go to the gym for a week do to sickness of everyone in the house, including me with pink eye. Thought I would have gained, but I guess I just lost muscle. I am doing the Civista 5K on Sunday. Will probably jog some and walk some. I really don't care how I finish, just that I do finish. Would have never tried this when I was 30 lbs. heavier. This will hopefully get me motivated to lose more weight. We shall see!

    This week I had a little loss, very little. But at least it's a loss. -.8 That makes me a little less than where I was 2 weeks ago. .4 away from being 30 lbs. lighter!

    Had a little gain this week- +.6. It was Easter and I ate peanut butter eggs, cupcakes, ice cream cake from Ed's b-day, and even a cheeseburger sub. Whoa what a week! In our group, I went from 3rd place to 6th place right now. Not good! I am too much of a competitor to let that many people beat me! I will do much better this week!
