Change of diet
I have updated my diet to be "low carb" so hopefully in the future I will see some changes. I need to eat far more protein however so I am unsure how to meet that target. I am a bit bummed out at the moment since I weighed myself and I had jumped up to 98kg again! Argh! I just want to lose this damn weight! I am still aiming for 1kg loss a week, but I am thinking now I need to pay more attention to the individual areas of my diet not just calorie intake and loss.

tired after a giant walk
Walked the lake for the first time in ages this morning, up at 6am! I walked both Evie and Charlie around as well, walked there and back too! A little sore from it but I know it was worth it and I can feel it working. 734 calories burned in 2 and a half hours! Go me!

4kg lost since I started this week!
Thats right, my highest weight, tipping the scales at just over 102kg was enough to get me off my arse and into the gym, since then I have cut down my portion sizes, drastically improved my diet and cut out the snacking, I have also tried to push myself a little harder at the gym. The results speak for themselves, in just 1 week I have managed to loose 4kg! The biggest improvement to my health in over 5 years and an excellent start to my journey. I am well on the way to loosing 25kg is 6 months, and I have to say, I am really very proud of myself. Go Katie!
