    Week one on Gyminee

Well this last week was kind of a trial for both me and Gyminee. I will be sticking with using it. This week I am posting my goals and progress toward them for the last week. My fitness goals are fairly simple. I am in decent shape, so I just need to tighten up around the edges and stay focused on getting fitter. The goals listed in this entry are not the physical goals that I already have in Gyminee. They are the goals I set for my exercise program. 1. Don't gorge. I tend to eat everything in sight, when there is free food at work. 2. Do Yoga 4 times a week. I really want this to be 5 or 6, however I am giving myself a buffer. 5 or 6 does not give alot of wiggle room. I need wiggle room. 3. Cardio 2 times a week. This could be stationary bike, treadmill or riding. This is to get my endurance back. 4. Core 3 times a week. Yoga gets me stretched out, the core exercises are for strengthening my lower back (have minor back issues, is back issues can be minor) and to help speed up the flattening of my belly. So, here is my progress from the last week. 1. Don't gorge. I did better than normal, but not good enough. I have to work on that will power thing. 2. Yoga 4X. I did great. I actually did it 5 times. 3. Cardio 2X. FAILURE. Was lazy, did not want to go to the Y. It will not happen this week. 4. Core 3X. I did twice. I do Core in the mornings and I do it MWF. Friday I slept in. So (I use So alot when talking to myself, I need a new word), I will get closer to my goals this week. I like the ability to monitor food with Gyminee. It is amazing how many calories some foods have. I eat a few things during the day, and when I put the foods in, I am shocked at how much they really are. Here is to a new week, a better, more driven week.

    Today It Begins

I have stayed in shape most of my life. I have slowly lost some of my physical skills and I have developed a bit of a belly. Over the last month or so, I have slowly started back. I found this site through Lifehacker.com and decided that it was time to get organized and put pressure on myself to get to where I used to be and stay there. I predominately do yoga, core training and cardio. I used to lift weights and I will probably start again after I get through getting back into shape. My goals are to drop to 175 lbs and get my waist down to 34 in. That is my beginning. I am not that far from these and I think that is why I am always looking up and a month has passed without any effort put into achieving these goals.
