    Losing weight

I am losing weight but my carve are still too high. Problem is when I keep my carbs at level they should be, I am crabby and get headaches. My carbs are mostly complex, with about 20g or less per day coming in the form of sugar. Some days it is more but not often, this seems to be not too bad 80 to maybe 160 cals from sugar. Maybe I am justifying it because I like some sugar. Ha ha

    Carbs still too high

Everyday my carbs are always higher than the amount I should be consuming. Clearly this is a major problem for me and I am not even eating any bread or all of the fruit I used to eat. I have added a banana back in to each day but I need the potassium for my muscles. Not sure how I am going to meet the carb level.

Seem to be making some progress

Despite it being Christmas and many of my one time a year favorites abound - egg nog, homemade tarts, home made shortbread, etc. I seem to be doing a decent job of controlling my intake and maintaining my exercise.

Sucked in by Mall Food Court Hell

I allowed myself to get too hungry while at the mall and succumbed to some Food Court food for lunch. It was a very good hamburger but all the same it messed up my food consumption. Unfortunately I compounded that by eating chinese take out this evening and that of course has destroyed any semblance of a balanced meal intake today. It will not be a problem to get back on track tomorrow but I am still annoyed I let it happen today.

About Me

Martial Arts is my primary athletic pursuit, I have my black belt in Goju Ryu Karate. I want to improve my fitness, strength and conditioning levels as well as lose excess weight. I train between 4 and 8 hours per week but it is not achieving the outcome I would like so I am adopting a more formal plan.
