Back from Butcher's Bay
Hey Little Riddick! I've just spent an entire afternoon on your blog reading each and every post of your Mission! Congratulations, your transformation is one of the most impressive I've seen so far and I really liked how you shared your ups and down throughout the "journey" :-) I'm a RTP user myself (I bought the programme back in August 2010 and procrastinated to launch it until today! Damn me...) and I've been following a few shredders on ShredderSphere. Today it's my turn, but I wanted to give you my thanks because really it's your adventure which motivated me to finally start for good! By the way, sorry for my English but I'm from Belgium( French speaking) and my writing may "read" funny ;-) I have started the program and my blog last Monday on a DailyBurn competitor website (I only discovered Daily Burn after following a link with your nickname) as Shreddersphere seems to be down at the moment (do you have the same issue with shreddersphere?) and I'm highly motivated to make it to the end! My physique objective is more like Daniel Craig's in Casino Royale (my girlfriend agrees too ;-). I'm a big fan of the series and I really like the idea of having a functionnal "military style" physique. But first I have 23% of body fat to reduce :-D Here comes RTP. Anyway, I don't know if you're still around but if you do and read this message, I hope you'll give me a shout. Fantastic job again! All the best in whatever challenge you're into at the moment! Cheers, Francois

Great!!
Good work on the fat loss!! But you've still plenty of road to cover, so keep up the momentum, and you'll no doubt make it! One recent food tip I learned the other day: "If it tastes good, spit it out." If something tastes "good", then it's got too much sugar, fat, or carbs. *Sigh*, the sacrifices we make as bodybuilders...

thanks guy! =) Ya, I used the RTP Transformation System (rtp-transformation-system.net) which is a mock version of Tom Venuto's "Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle" book - hence why I chose this program over others. The program is definitely a challenge as it has you in the gym for 6 days a week (4 days weight training and 2 days cardio - approx 45 min long). So far (as you can see), I'm quite impressed with the results as it ensures you are not wasting time in the gym (like I have done in the past) as all the exercises are set strategically to get the best bang for your time in the gym. The nutritional guide that it comes with is definitely key as it focuses on the proper foods to eat and how many times to eat. I didn't want to get a program that steers me away from the foods I love, as it teaches you to have these foods in moderation. IMO, the workout plan and nutrition plan that it provides is a great start to change your current lifestyle to eat healthier on regular days, eat whatever you want on reward meal days, and to incorporate daily exercise in your daily regime. Always keep in mind, that this is a "lifestyle change" - fad diets will not work for the long term as it totally takes away the foods we love for a long period of time...IMO, that's a huge challenge and for my lifestyle, not realistic. Good luck with your goals my freind and keep the light shining on the prize.
