2 Weeks into 4HB
I'm a little under 2 weeks into the 4HB diet. I wasn't committed to the kettlebell swings and I'm still not taking the PAGG stack, but about 11 days in and BodPod is showing 6lb fat loss and >1lb muscle gain. I'm hooked.

4 Hour Body
I just started using the 4-Hour body diet. I've already failed one day, though.I will continue the diet system for at least a month as I'm already having bodpods done regularly and see how well it works.

Nice work
James, keep it up. Ditching alcohol was one of the biggest things that played into me being able to lose weight successfully. Hope all is well.

Feeling better about losing weight
I decided to give this another go. My scale has been dead for some time now so I based my weight on my peak before it died. I ordered a withings wifi scale so I will automatically track my progress. My new job is also making it easier to maintain a plan because I did not get into the schedule of going out to eat every day when I started. There is also a whole foods next door that makes it much easier to make healthy decisions. My biggest change in calories will come from removing alcohol from my diet. I'm not sure that I'm ready to add in a lot of exercise, yet, but if I maintain a conscious effort to watch my calories then I should be on track to lose quite a bit of weight anyway.

Gaining Weight
My weight increased today despite sticking to fewer calories and exercising. This is dis-heartening as I am not committed to this lifestyle change, yet. On the positive side, I went to Trader Joe's yesterday and got a bunch of dried fruits and raw nuts. I also got a couple dishes that I'm exited about trying, but will probably have to wait until the weekend b/c I've still been eating out for lunch and that meal alone makes up most of my calories(particularly fats) for the day. I also received a shipment of Whey Isolate protein powder today. I intend to significantly increase the protein in my diet by making these shakes a significant daily source of caloric intake. I suspect that soon I will have to come up with a better plan for eating lunch or potentially get rid of the meal altogether and just eat servings of fruits, nuts, protein shakes and similar throughout my day at work.
