About Me
Hi, my name is Leo. I have been working out off and on for many years. About a year ago, I rededicated myself to a healthier lifestyle. Fortunately, it didn't take me too long to get back in shape, about a year. I have a full gym in my home - that saves me a lot of time, and makes it easier for me to workout. I lift five days a week free weights, and some machine work as well. I also do some type of HIT or HIIT, and cardio as part of my workout. I get my workouts done in about an hour. My weight is pretty consistant between 180 and 185 pounds. I am 6' tall and carry about 7-8%% body fat. I am happy where I am physically. Perhaps lose another 1% or so of body fat, get a little stronger, bigger but I don't want to get too heavy. The challenge for me isn't exercise - it's diet. Trying to watch what I eat, and how much, has a bigger effect on how I look and feel than how much I exercise. I follow a common sense approach to health, and don’t let it run my life. Over the years I have learned what works and what doesn’t. I Just want to have fun with it, and enjoy it. If you are looking for a motivator, or someone to just ask questions – please feel free to contact me.

recovered
Well, just about fully recovered from my knee surgery. An injury I lived with for over a decade. Something happened when I was out running, and finally had to do something about the knee. Had 40% of the Meniscus in my right knee removed in August. I can't remember NOT having knee pain..... Knee seems to be fine now as I ramp up the weights and cardio - no pain... Somehow managed to keep my weight in line, despite not being able to workout for about 6 full weeks.
