Llourias's Journal
Final Journal
I really liked this web site. I think the pros are that you can research so many different types of exercises and workout programs that you might not have been aware of. It gives details on ow to use different machines and explains how to do exercises. It has been proven that keeping track of what you eat, or a daily "food journal" is beneficial. I truly liked this portion of the website. I was not aware of the amount of carbs in many foods or the fact of how much I do eat some days. I liked keeping a daily journal of what I ate during a day. I also loved how you can enter a recipe and it gives the nutrition label for it. This is the first site like this that I have ever used so I have nothing to compare it to, but I did not find any cons. I was able to meet some SMART goals. Walking has become my best friend and this class has taught me how to make SMART goals and the importance of doing so. I really liked this class. I have learned SO much and have shared a great deal with those around me. The material excited me to make lifestyle changes.

The people I motivated
This week I motivated bspencer, alexgverra15, and crjregan1's. The things that motivate me is wanting to fit into clothes that I currently unable to and to be healthy. I feel so much better when I exercise and make wise food choices. When I eat "good" food, I don't feel bloated or guilty! I am 45 years old and I want to live a long time. That motivates me. I chose my comprehensive workout because it includes all the exercises that I like to do. I love to walk and the pilates relaxes me. I also like the crunches and arms exercises because I can feel the burn; it makes me feel like I am accomplishing something.

Don't fall off
Hey, after going thru your logs I see that you might be forgetting to go the gym or maybe not logging it. You have to continue trying to finish what we all started the final stretch is here and it's time to push thru, there are only a couple of weeks left and it would be a shame to give up now. I was also noticing you also chose the 8 minute abs workout, what do you think of it? I love it! It's simple and great to do in the privacy of your home.

So....
haven't seen much activity in awhile. I hope your sticking with the program. You were really off to a terrific start preparing for the Tillman run and all. After looking through your logs and workouts I like how you set realisitic goals for yourself and gradually increased intensity over a period of time. Your weight chart certainly shows the results. How's the 5k training program? I love the fat free chicken crispy too! gonna have to jot that recipe down. Keep up the work. You're making a positive change for your family (by exercising during TV hours) too!

Baked Crispy Chicken Sandwich
http://dailyburn.com/recipes/baked_crispy_chicken_breast The biggest change I made to the Arby's Chicken Filet Sandwich-Cristpy, is that mine is baked, not fried. Years ago I took a "fat free" cooking class and learned this recipe. You can also make it using chicken strips and it makes great "chicken fingers". It really turnes out crunchiy and wonderfuly good.
