    Nice first day. Give your calorie goal a week or so to kick in. If you don't see much improvement, then you can adjust by 100 or 200 calories. I always make small changes. Then give it some time. BMR and activity level are averages, so your body may be slightly different. It may take awhile to find your sweet spot.
