lozp643 met her Body Weight goal!

lozp643's Journal
Getting back into it.
Right I am finally getting focussed on losing weight and getting fitter. I have now joined a couple of challenges to motivate me on my way to achieving my goals, and my mindset is in the right place at the moment. I just need to also remember to concentrate on my Uni work, so fingers crossed I can find the right balance! Here goes.....

Title...
I am really finding this hard! I have discovered that my eating is completely to do with how I feel at the time, so when I'm in a bad mood I end up munching my way through grams and grams of carbs before I have realised what is going on. I wish I was one of these people that didn't feel like eating when they are stressed, life would be easier as I wouldn't have the added stress of consciously trying to lose weight! But the thing is I am still not meeting my calorie goals.....I don't really know what to do about that as I can't seem to add calories without going way over my carb goal. I am going to have to work something out. At least I am making the effort to change though! I know it's a slow process, but I fear that if I don't see any difference soon I am going to fall back into my old ways.......

Third day.....
It's getting harder now. I think the novelty is wearing off a little. I am getting a little annoyed with the nutrition goals. How can I boost my protein intake without increasing my carb intake aswell?? And I need to get used to not having carbs with every meal. Really hard for me!! I may have to invest in some whey protein shake. I think I'm going to have to get some tips off others! The exercise is going a little better, fingers crossed tonight my legs bums and tums class will go well :) And Yoga tomorrow! So excited!

Second Day......
Still trying to figure my way through this. Feeling motivated to go out and exercise though! Think I'm going to hit the gym for the first time this year this afternoon after my lecture. Hopefully it won't be too busy, but I'm not going to hold my breath! I'm hoping that this low carb diet is really going help kick start my weight loss, because if I keep going on this and seeing I'm eating too many carbs I will feel like a bit of a failure! I have planned out all my meals for the next week, and I even have a shopping list for the week after! Go me!

First Day....
So today is officially my first day of using this thing, as the other day I used it I was just testing out the app :P It seems quite cool, and I think it will keep me motivated to actually lose weight and get my fitness back! Fingers crossed :)
