About Me
I was a high school athlete and usually kept myself in shape, but life got in the way and now I don't recognize the person I see in the mirror anymore. So here I am after struggling with my weight for some time, looking for assistance in actually changing my habits and in the long term my life.

...And we're back!
So I've been missing for some time. I went through some stuff and came out the other side, and now I'm here again. I started with Weight Watchers to help me lose and am back in the gym, and have so far lost 8 pounds, even after celebrating my birthday and going on a cruise. Will post more as the time comes.

I was a BAD girl yesterday
So I totally did not track what I ate and I ate A LOT and a lot of bad stuff too. I had a cruise line ship visit to do for work, and ate on board. We all know what the food on board cruise lines are like, It tasted great but I ate everything I shouldn't have. It was also my 1 year anniversary yesterday so we went to dinner and ate MORE of what I shouldn't have. That's alright though, I'm back on the wagon today except I should be going to the gym but I'm so tired still from walking all over the ship and the excitement of the anniversary last night that really I'll do it tomorrow. I got my workout on the ship yesterday walking around and up and down stairs and in and out of things.

Seriously?!
I didn't lose a single pound this week. Not even a freaking half a pound. That does not make me very happy. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I am working out and am doing a combination of cardio and strength. I think I'm eating better. Maybe at times not getting enough calories, according the daily tracker, but I may not be marking things correctly, so I'm not sure where I went wrong! Maybe it's time for me to shake things up? I don't think I've plateaued, but it is disheartening to get on the scale a week after losing 2 pounds to find you didn't lose a single pound. :(

Can someone please explain to me why abs start to hurt the day after the work out, and get more and more sore as the day goes by?

So I did core today, and felt completely nauseous afterwards and got a headache as well. Did I work out too hard, not hydrate enough, not eat right?
