    Tips & Good Wishes

I am inspired by how long you've been using this program, your very dedicated. Id like to offer simple words of advise to you, i was reviewing your nutrition logs and noticed a KEY to help you lose even more weight. Cut out your sugar filled drinks ... EX: grape juice, have water instead By practicing that you can make a tremendous difference in yourself, it will also reduce your cravings. Try and drink water whenever your thirsty, its very helpful in assisting you to losing weight. Other then that you are highly inspirational with your dedication and effort, Keep it up ! your doing great =) Ps. You gain weight when you first start exercising because your body is turning fat into muscle ... after it has reached a healthy weight of muscle mass and reduced your bodies fat % by about 5 percent you begin to lose weight because your body burns more calories , dont get discouraged with weight gain its how you feel about yourself and how you look. Muscle weights ALOT more then fat, but it is condensed and makes you look thinner. I have faith in you ! goodluck !!

    You

thanks for the follow up. Yup...still at it...now more than I was the last month. Kinda backed off a bit with both exercise and diet. But in the end knew I wasn't where I want or need to be.... And you? Still rockin it? Looked at your entires and weight chart and see you have been flat for the past few weeks. So whats the deal with that? Don't give in to what got you to where you are in the first place Mac. You are a young guy and you don't want this. you know you don't. This thing is tough Mac. You know the saying, if it was easy everyone would be doing it. You gotta get your mind right and accept the fact there will be sacrifices. I tell my son who plays HS football and baseball that if he wants to be the best and play at the next level , there are sacrifices he has to accept and make. Same for this thing and if we don't...we simply live shorter, less fufilling lives. The last thing you want to do Mac, is wake up when you are 51 and have a doc tell you that pretty much anything that he measures (BP, blood sugar and cholesterol is on the wrong side of good and if you don't fix it, you'll cut years off your life. That was me not too long ago. Hell I thought of myself as I did when I was in college...played football and was in great shape. but took health for granted and ended up where I was. Don't be me Mac. Don't give in or give it up. Don't mean to preach but I know you can do it. Even though I don't know you, I know that people, if they really have a reason and desire can change what they control. So what is it Mac?

Mac Good luck to you. Stay focused brother as it will take work, both physical and mental. It's the mental part that does most in. People give up way, way, waaaay before thier bodies do. Three sentences that keep me motivated are ones I heard from my coaches time over time over time - Deeds not dialogue - If it were easy, everyone would do it - If you cheat yourself who won't you cheat. Stay on it even when you are sore or tired or when you hit a plateau. Resist the temptation of something you know isn't good for you. Sometimes it is hard as hell. but then again if it were easy eveyone would be doing it. Lots of people are doing the same thing you are...and are successful. you can be to..just make sure you follow through. Reach out if you even need to vent brother. Jeff
