    returning...

I've worked a bit on my problems, and I think I'm ready to get back on the horse. we'll see how this goes. I might just skip the weigh-in bits and focus on eating more balanced and general workout logs.

    MIA for a bit

Due to some personal and mental reasons, I'm going to be taking a bit of a hiatus from gyminee. I'll still log in to check out & encourage all my buddies, so I'm not leaving entirely. I just need to *not* count my calories for a little while.

    T minus 6 days & counting

By this time on Sunday I'll be finished with my first, and only, Olympic-distance triathlon of the year. Eek! Part of me feels ready, another part not so much. Olys always kick my butt--they're much more work than sprint distance. I just hope I'm not the last one finished. I'll be in the last group in the water, so that doesn't bode well :( Ah, well. not much I can do but try my best and go as fast as I can! Not worrying too much about food/exercise this week. its a taper week so its most important that I just stay healthy. Back to the hard-core stuff next Monday.

    b-fit b-day b-tired!

I had wanted to do the b-fit b-day challenge where you do a "tri" that reflects your age. since today is my half birthday I thought I'd celebrate that way. Last night I decided to run first since its my weakest of the 3 disciplines, and after my 9.5 mile run I'm too tired to bike 29.5 miles and swim 2. Well, I possibly could, but I'm feeling awesome now and I don't want to overdo it. It was a nice run--lots of friendly people out. also, had some "sport gummies" during the run and I felt fine in both mood and energy. Seems gummy candies are the key to keeping me happy. Yay! I <3 gummies.

    Mood - 06.25.08

Much happier today. Had some Gummy life savers in the afternoon. Also been snacking hard-core on the soy nuts and my body's not reacting well (ie gastrointestinal issues and greasy face). Will have to limit myself to 1 serving/day of those.
