    Running / Cardio plan

    So after my knees killed while trying to do my weekly 5k, I stepped back and have been gradually adding time. This week I am doing 3 minutes walk, 2 minutes run. It has me up to over 2 miles each time. My final goal is the 5k. Tonight is a cardio with core! Had an up and down weekend. But I will continue to hit my numbers. Also really enjoying the strength training part of my plan.

    Disappointed

    I had to log my weight gain. I waited for an extra week to see if I could pull off the weight - but no. So I must admit that and move on.

    Below where I started.

    I am finally back below the spot where I began my insane weight gain. I have been making steady downward progress since December 23rd. Looking forward to getting below 160 lbs this week.

    Ran 5k today again

    Tried to figure out how fast I had to run but I was wrong. So I felt I needed to speed up. Ended up finishing 5k is exactly 39 minutes. My knees and low back were very sore and stiff. I had a massage today and it helped but man oh man.
