    I am keeping up with the diet but the workout has been on hold for the last 2 days. I have completely lost my voice and have a terrible sore throat. I swear, I had a cold and thought it was getting better but then it did a 180 and now I am worse. What a way to spend Thanks giving! I can't WAIT to get to the doctor next week.

    workout

    so today was my second day doing my strength training at home. I am so out of shape!! My legs are so sore and I am dreading tomorrow morning! Talk about feeling burn!! I just hope I will see some results after all of this!

About Me

I am a single parent of an 11 yr old little girl. I work full-time and lead a generally hectic life so my problem is always finding time (and energy to workout). I have always been thin until I hit 29 and it seems as though the weight has come on about 5 lbs a year. My metabolism just isn't what it used to be (especially considering I love food and my friends all call me "Mikey" since I will eat just about anything). Looking to get in shape by spring so I can look forward to bathing suit season instead of dreading it.
